Established in 2005, Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. (BBAC) is a joint venture founded by Daimler AG, Daimler Greater China Ltd. and BAIC Motor. BBAC’s plant is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, where the company produces a variety of Mercedes-Benz cars and engines in strict accordance with the globally renowned Mercedes-Benz quality standards.
BBAC is a comprehensive production facility within the global production network of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, with a high output and a large production area. With the Daimler Group’s first engine, battery and pilot plants outside of Germany, BBAC is Daimler’s only joint venture worldwide that produces front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive and electric models under one roof.
